Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change where a short link points after sharing it?

Yes. Edit the destination at any time and the same short link — and any QR code made from it — starts sending visitors to the new address.

Can I choose my own short link ending?

Yes. Type a custom slug when you create or edit a link. Slugs are first come, first served, and a few words used by the site itself are reserved.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. Short links currently use 2xurl.com. Custom domains are on our roadmap and will be announced when they are available.

How do I organize a large number of links?

Use folders to group related links, tags to label them across folders, and search, filters and sorting to find any link quickly. Links you no longer need can be archived and restored later.

Can I create or remove links in bulk?

Yes. Import links from a CSV file to create many at once, export every link in a workspace to CSV, and select multiple links to delete them together.

What happens when a link expires?

It stops redirecting to its destination. Set a fallback URL and visitors land somewhere useful instead of an error page.

Can my team manage links together?

Yes. Invite teammates to your workspace with roles, and everyone works from the same list of links, folders and tags.
