Integrations

Connect 2xurl to your stack.

Shorten links from your own app, react to changes in real time, and move links in bulk — with an API, webhooks and spreadsheets that fit the tools you already use.

1. Overview

2xurl is built to plug into your existing workflow. Everything you can do in the dashboard — creating links, reading analytics, managing QR codes and bio pages — is also available programmatically, so your website, CRM, store or internal tools can work with short links directly.

  • REST API

Create, update and look up short links and analytics from your own code.

  • Webhooks

Get a signed HTTP callback the moment something changes in your workspace.

  • CSV

Move links in and out in bulk with spreadsheets — no code required.

2. REST API

The 2xurl REST API uses JSON over HTTPS and standard HTTP status codes. Authenticate by sending your API key in the request header, then create links, update destinations, fetch click statistics and more.

  • Create a short link with an optional custom alias, tags, folder and expiry.
  • Update a link's destination at any time — the short URL never changes.
  • Pull click analytics by date range, country, device and referrer.
  • Each key has per-minute and monthly rate limits; API calls are billed from your prepaid wallet.

See the API Reference for endpoints, request examples and error codes.

3. API Keys & Scopes

Create keys from Developers in your dashboard. A key is shown only once, stored as a hash, and limited to the scopes you choose:

links.read / links.writeList, create, update and delete short links.
analytics.readRead clicks, countries, devices and referrers.
qr.read / qr.writeFetch and customise QR codes for your links.
campaigns.read / campaigns.writeGroup links into campaigns and track them together.
bio.read / bio.writeManage your link-in-bio pages and their blocks.
workspaces.read / billing.readRead workspace details and wallet balance.

4. Webhooks

Add a webhook endpoint in your dashboard and choose the events you want. 2xurl sends a JSON POST to your URL each time one happens:

link.createdA short link was created.
link.updatedA link’s destination or settings changed.
link.deletedA short link was deleted.
workspace.member_invitedSomeone was invited to the workspace.
workspace.member_joinedAn invited member joined the workspace.

Every delivery is signed with an HMAC in the X-2xurl-Signature header. Verify it with your webhook secret before trusting the payload. Failed deliveries are retried automatically.

5. CSV Import & Export

No developer? Upload a CSV of long URLs to create many short links at once, or export your links with their click counts to open in Excel or Google Sheets. It's the easiest way to move links between 2xurl and other tools.

6. UTM & Campaign Tracking

Add UTM parameters to any link so visits show up correctly in Google Analytics and other analytics tools. Group related links into a campaign to compare how each channel performs, right inside 2xurl.

7. QR Codes Anywhere

Every short link comes with a QR code you can download as PNG or SVG and drop into print designs, packaging, menus or slide decks. Because the QR code points to your short link, you can change the destination later without reprinting.

8. Best Practices

  • Give each integration its own API key so you can revoke one without breaking the others.
  • Grant only the scopes an integration needs — a reporting dashboard only needs analytics.read.
  • Keep keys on your server; never put them in browser code or mobile apps.
  • Always verify webhook signatures and respond with a 2xx status quickly.
